This workshop will further explore the theme of graphic design as a tool to comprehend and control image formation processes, allowing students to develop and strengthen their visual design methodologies. Throughout the workshop, various visual communication case studies will be analyzed, dealing with various themes: tools and terminology, visual value of the text and narrative value of visual content, brand image, positioning strategies, critical reading of advertising, as well as providing students with a chance to undertake design experiments.
By the end of this workshop, students are expected to be able to set up and reproduce, in a technical and methodologically accurate manner, various visual identity and communication issues on various platforms.
