The course aims at providing an advanced knowledge of some relevant issues in the field of the multilevel regulatory framework (European law and domestic law) that affects energy and the ecological transition. In particular, the course is focused on law, regulations and measures adopted for the promotion and development of sustainable energy. In this perspective, after a general analysis focused on the European energy policies, the course studies special regulations that govern the production, transport, distribution and sale of electricity and gas, focusing on the pro-competitive regulation of energy markets imposed at European level. Therefore, the course explores incentives and measures that stimulate the production of energy from renewable sources, in general and with particular reference to some sectors such as transport and sustainable mobility.
