Il modulo presenta i principi generali per la progettazione e lo sviluppo di dispositivi indossabili per applicazioni biomediche (diagnosi e monitoraggio di funzioni). Ciò include sensori, attuatori e programmazione del microcontrollore
Design of wearable devices for medical applications. At the end of tis module the student will be able to identify the correct sensor and/or actuator for a given application, and to design and implement an embedded system for signal acquisition and/or device control.
Combination of lectures, lab activities and project work
Microcontroller programming techniques
The Arduino hardware family and IDE
Actuators types and actuator control
Sensors sensor types and signal acquisition
Interrupts and timers
Communication protocols: serial, I2C, ISP, Bluetooth
