CODE 101909 ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/2024 CREDITS 1 cfu anno 1 VALORIZZAZIONE DEI TERRITORI E TURISMI SOSTENIBILI 10715 (LM-80) - SAVONA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR GEO/04 LANGUAGE Italian TEACHING LOCATION SAVONA SEMESTER 1° Semester TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB OVERVIEW The Laboratory intends to analyse some of the most significant and effective territorial policy organizations with relevant application aspects in particular in the field of regional tourism. It will take vision of the territorial analysis through a direct search on web, focusing on some developed plans with positive outcomes in Liguria. Each student will conduct a survey on a territory of his choice agreed with the teacher AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The activity aims to provide examples of territorial policies aimed at enhancing the territory with particular attention to the impact on environments and populations AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The aim is to develop the capacity for data collection, analysis, spatial planning and programming, increasing the capacity for evaluation and proposal through individual guided work. PREREQUISITES Knowledge of a Gis program is welcome TEACHING METHODS The teacher will indicate the survey methodologies to allow students to acquire and perform a mode to collect, analyse and evaluate data on the organisation of a specific to collect, analyse and evaluate data on the organisation of a specific region in terms of sustainable development of the same, seen and analyzed examples and references. For students with DSA certifications compensatory or dispensative measures are guaranteed. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Brief knowledge of the regional territory and of the main databases containing relevant information for the discipline. Identification of homogeneous or strongly related territorial areas for the collection and deepening of the available thematic material. Research of the most significant applications of territorial organization and, in relation to the planning developed for that territory, SWOT analysis in relation to the outcomes of the same, with design implications for improving local performance. RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY Main text is "Analysis of the touristic recreational potential of a territory as a condition for development of ecological tourism and bibliography" whose pdf will be provided to studentes, further text and slides will be provided, also in english language, during the laboratory on the basis of the development of the same and the chosen territories for the elaboration to be produced by each student.
