In particular, the role of illustration and the relationship that is created between the latter and the text will be addressed; analyzing some books that can now be considered classics (such as: Leo Lionni, Bruno Munari, Iela Mari, Roberto Innocenti) and the most recent production. Students will be invited to comment critically on some of these works and to carry out simple reading and writing activities. Special attention will also be given to books without text or "silent book". Do not miss, always starting from the examination of the volumes, works in small groups of poetic writing and nursery rhymes or rewriting of classic fairy tales, moving in particular from the different versions of Little Red Riding Hood.
