“ Metodologia del gioco e dell’animazione (laboratorio)” offers a firsthand discovery of the game world through many facets. Therefore you can make significant experiences which aim at question yourself about what game actually is and at became aware of the “complexity” of this educational tool.
By the end of the course, students should be able to: plan playful educational activities, adapting them to the different children’s ages and school grades; choose games and animation techniques that can foster the selected educational objectives; launching and conducting games appropriately; evaluating recreational and playful activities with children and peers.
TheLab module aims to develop students' ability to:
(a) Knowledge and understanding skills:
- To be able to design a game for the classroom
- to be able to elaborate the theoretical framework of game methodology
- knowing how to ddesign the game outcomes
b) Applied knowledge and understanding:
- Being able to contuct a ganme in classes
- To be able to manage and coordinate the pupils during the game
c) Autonomy of judgement
-Able to apply acquired skills and knowledge
d) Communication skills:
- Knowing how to communicate research findings taking into account the audience
To be able to use the effective comunication, build significant educational relationships through th use of game and entertainmenet methodologies;
e) Learning skills:
- Be able to use the knowledge learnt to update and acquire other knowledge
Students will be involved and made actors of some group-works, simulations and practices (“mettiamoci in gioco”) and of the following think moment.
We will use videos and slides to present some themes and to support activities.
Aulaweb will be useful for teacher to upload some files and for students to support your personal path and to give some file to the group.
Especially we will deal with:
1) GIOCO E ACCOGLIENZA: presentation games, small and big games, create games;
2) GIOCO E APPRENDIMENTO : mathmatical games, word games,story-telling games;
3) GIOCO E ARTE: play with art
4) GIOCO E NATURA: play with nature.
Being a laboratory where the learners will be required to actively participate.
Contents are set on play base learning relating to Scuola Infanzia and game play learning relating to different subjects for Scuola Primaria.
During the workshop, material will be provided (it will also be included in the aulaweb for better sharing) useful for in-depth analysis of the themes tested to promote the circularity between practice and reflection on practice.

The laboratory participants will be divided into groups .
