    OVERVIEW

    The course is scheduled in the spring semester (starting from mid-February)

    AIMS AND CONTENT

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

    At the end of the course , the student should be able: 1. to describe some models of educational planning (forward planning, backward planning, constructive alignment et others) 2. to plan an educational project a. to write educational general and specific objectives b. to write competences and intended learning outcomes (ILO) c. to use Bloom taxonomy and SOLO taxonomy d. to choose relevant Teaching/Learning/Assessment methods 3.To describe the following active and interactive Teaching-Learning methods: • Problem Based Learning • Cooperative Learning • Team Based Learning • Flipped classroom • Role playing and simulations • Narratives • Outdoor Training.

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

    This subject is aimed at developing the following educational purposes:

    1. knowing the main features of the instructional and educational design (forward planning, backward planning, constructive aligments, summative and formative assessment, etc)

    2. writing an educational plan

    3. knowing and applying the following educational strategies:

    • Problem based learning

    • Team based learning

    • Flipped classroom

    • Cooperative learning

    • Role playing

    • Outdoor education

    • lectures about educational theories 
    • group discussions
    • group works
    • simulations
    • problem solving

    SYLLABUS/CONTENT

    • knowing theories and typologies of instructional and educational design

    • creating/planning educational activities

    • using summative and formative assessments

    For international students, texts and articles in English are available on request. The exam can be taken in English in the prescribed manner
