AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The module will focus on the epistemological foundations of the discipline, the models and the intervention skills of Clinical Psychology, in particular on the bio-psycho-social model and on communication

TEACHING METHODS

The course includes 10 hours of frontal and practical lessons

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

 The course aims to analyze the epistemological foundations of the discipline, the methods and the techniques in clinical psychology, the interpersonal relationship, the strategies to cope with stress, the sick person and his psychological reactions, the working maladjustment and the Burnout, diagnosis and organizational intervention.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The exam focuses on the topics covered in class but also aims to evaluate the ability to acquire in-depth knowledge, the use of a correct terminology, the ability to expose the topics in a complete manner demonstrating the understanding of the issues and the ability to apply them in the professional practice.
