It makes possible to formulate a rehabilitation diagnosis, define goals, and plan an intervention. In addition, it allows you to monitor the transformations that occur and, if necessary, modify the objectives, interventions or project. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The student should be able to critically evaluate published studies related to clinical rehabilitation, management of organizational processes and human resources, demonstrating that they possess the ability to apply to professional choices. The student should be able to conceive, design, adapt and implement clinical research projects. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES In recent years there has been a real technological and digital revolution that has heavily influenced our daily life and has significantly pervaded the clinical environment. The availability of low-cost technological systems favors the use of objective patient assessment and monitoring methodologies, both in the institutional setting and at home. Rehabilitation increasingly uses and will use these technologies to optimize patient treatment. The course aims to respond to the educational need of the graduate in the knowledge of the main hardware and software instruments and technologies for patient evaluation and monitoring, with the aim of developing in the learner the basic knowledge relating to the main hardware and software technologies for. Clinical assessment in rehabilitation, favouring a critical ability to choose the right device for the various rehabilitation areas. At the end of the course and after an appropriate period of study and practice, the student will be able to: - Know the current opportunities and limits of application of surface electromyography in the rehabilitation field - Know the current opportunities and limits of application of the different force measurement systems - Know the current opportunities and limits of application of inertial sensors (IMU) in the rehabilitation field - Know the current opportunities and limits of application of immersive virtual reality in the rehabilitation field TEACHING METHODS Lectures and laboratory exercises with moments of interaction and discussion in the class group. Students with SLD, disability or other special educational needs certification are strongly encouraged to contact the teachers at the beginning of the course to agree on teaching methods which, respecting the teaching objectives, take into account individual learning methods and provide suitable compensatory instruments.
