The course, carried out in two modules, provides the student the main concepts on the design and management of mechanical systems, as well as the characteristics of the materials mainly used in industrial plants and theur related processing.
The main purpose of the Mechanical Plants module is to provide students basic technical-economic knowledge of plant design and operation through different qualitative and quantitative methodologies and techniques.
The theoretical part of the Manufacturing Technologies module aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of the characteristics of metallic materials used in industrial plants and the main manufacturing technologies.
