The Second World War, with its tens of millions of deaths, the extermination camps, the explosion of the atomic bomb, is a true watershed in the history of international relations of the twentieth century. Since 1945, with the defeat of Nazi-fascism, a new page has started in the history of humanity. The course will cover the main events of the twentieth century (Cold War, decolonization, European integration process, globalization, the collapse of the USSR, the rise of China, the clash of civilizations, etc.) to the present day, paying particular attention to the events of Latin America.
