The teaching aims to provide the student with the knowledge and operating procedures necessary to perform predictive analysis of the reliability and safety characteristics of a system or process
Aim of the course is to provide the students with basic knowledge of probability theory and system dependability modeling by conventional and innovative procedures. The goal of the course is to improve the skill of the students in harmonizing the knowledge get in previous years as far as mathematics, physics and industrial engineering are concerned, and the one dealing with RAMS theory, in order to be able to model systems to forecast their performances in time.
Note. The information in this section is less detailed respect to the Italian version because lectures are provided in Italian only and the same constraint applies for exams as well.

Written and oral exams.
Aim of written and oral exams is to evaluate if the candidate has understood modeling procedures for system dependability prediction and is able to solve simple numerical examples. During oral exam candidate ability in clearly describing concepts and using a correct and suitable technical wording will be evaluated as well.
