Congenital Heart Disease in Pediatrics and in Grown-up (GUCH) patients.
Knowledge of specific problems and peculiarities of congenital heart dosease in pediatric and grown-up (GUCH) patients.
Knowledge of physiopathology of the most common congenital heart diseases.
Ability of analyzing and understanding the hemodynamic data for each congenital heart disease.
The program is based upon 10 hours of lessons divided in 4 groups of 2,5 hours each.
Each group will include:
frontal lessons,
video presentations,
Case discussion and management,
question and answers
Atrial Septal Defects (and particularly Ostium Secundum)
Patent Foramen Ovale Ventriculas Septal Defects (and particularly Perimembranous)
Aortic Coarctation
Lecture notes and videos given to the students

Written test consisting in 20 multiple choice questions to be completed in 20 minutes.
There will be at least three answers of which only one is correct.
The questions concern the problems and the hemodynamic patterns of specific Congenital Heart Diseases in pediatric and particularly in GUCH patients.
The final test will be used to verify the student’s effective learnig .
To each correct answer a score of 3/30 will be attributed. To pass the exam the minimum score will be 18/30, corresponding to 6 correct answers out of 10.
In such a way an impartial assessment of the student’s:
·Ability of analyzing and understanding the hemodynamic data for each congenital heart disease.
will be obtained.
