The student will have acquired the fundamental knowledge relating to the main theoretical and applicative aspects of Bioengineering. In particular, the main biomedical instruments, the analysis of biomedical signals and the foundations of modern biomedical imaging techniques will be illustrated, as well as their applications in the clinical setting and in research laboratories. At the end of the course the student will have developed the ability to critically and autonomously evaluate the limits and potential of the techniques discussed. The final exam aims to verify that the contents of the course have been assimilated, that the student knows how to use them critically and explain them adequately. In addition to the knowledge of the course contents, the quality of the presentation of the contents, the correct use of the specialized vocabulary, the ability to think critically and to apply the acquired knowledge will be evaluated.
