Acquisition of basic concepts for the design, implementation and evaluation of interventions in the field of prevention and health promotion aimed at 'high-risk' population groups.
At the end of the course, students must possess the main knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention. They must also demonstrate that they understand that prevention is essential to protecting the health of the individual and the community.
Students must be able to apply the knowledge acquired and must have sufficient skills to design and carry out an educational intervention of health promotion or prevention aimed at 'high-risk' population groups.

Presentation of projects realized by students in group activities.
Health definition and health determinants. Health promotion. Primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention definitions. Guidelines for the design of health promotion and prevention interventions for 'high-risk' population groups.
The teaching contributes to reaching the following goals of Sustainable Development ONU 2030: goal 3 and goal 4.
