SYLLABUS/CONTENT Rational design of hit compounds Medicinal chemistry methods to optimize the pharmacodinamic and pharmacokinetic profile of drug candidates. Computational methods to manage in silico drugs and biological targets. Homology modeling and molecular docking techniques. QSAR analyses and pharmacophore searching methods. Virtual screening and molecular dynamic simulations: case studies. In silico evaluation of the bioavailability and safety profile of drugs.
