The student will have to acquire the ability to understand the dynamic and specific characteristics of the landscape, in order to be able to evaluate the possible actions of protection, recovery, enhancement of the landscape, in the light of the laws in force on the matter.
Theorical lessons.
Definition of landscape. Understanding of the complex, multidimensional and dynamic characters of landscapes. The Landscape in Article 9 of the Italian Constitution and in the Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape. The restoration of the historic garden. Conservation and enhancement of historic landscapes. Examples of significant case studies.
