The teaching concerns Italian public law in its topics that are more interesting for sport.
 

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The teaching aims to explain to students the main issues of public law, among which: the sources of Italian law, also in relationship with supranational sources, Italian State, its powers and its territorial organization, the protection of human rights. These issues will be analyzed in order to point out the features more related to sport, with a mainly practical approach, so that students will be able to: find, read and understand the normative acts regulating sport, learn the legislative, administrative and jurisdictional competences about the manifestations of sport, know the rights that come into relief in connection with sport and the limitations of them which are legally provided in order to guarantee the correct performance of sporting activities, especially of the agonistic ones.

At the end of the lessons, students should be able:

to find, read and understand the normative acts regulating sport;

to know the rights that come into relief in connection with sport and the limitations of them which are legally provided in order to guarantee the correct performance of sporting activities, especially of the agonistic ones.

PREREQUISITES

No prerequisites are required.

TEACHING METHODS

The teaching will consist in frontal lessons held by the professor in presence; some lessons will be held by other professors or by experts invited to deepen particular topics.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The teaching concerns in particular the following topics:

notion of juridical system,

Italian State also in relationship with European Union and with international system,

sources of law,

constitutional and administrative organization,

territorial articulation in Italy,

rights and duties of individuals

The exam must be prepared, in addition to the lecture notes and the material put on Aulaweb, on the following text:

EXAMS

EXAM DESCRIPTION

The exam will be held in the forms that will be indicated at the beginning of lessons and on Aulaweb.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The Examining Board will evaluate the completeness of answers, the use of correct legal terminology, the ability to make connections between the various parts of the matter. Moreover, the frequency and the active participation to lessons will be evaluated.
