A student must learn from the internship:
The ability to recognize the intervention methodologies applied within the internship
The ability to identify the main rehabilitation objectives and to draft the therapeutic project accordingly
The ability to critically assess and identify the child's areas of strength and areas of weakness
The ability to develop project hypotheses in reference to the observed cases
The ability to conduct, under the supervision of the internship assistant/tutor, a neuropsychomotor therapy session
The ability to verify the outcomes of the intervention
The ability to construct and manage the rehabilitation setting
The ability to present a clinical case in both verbal and written form
The ability to communicate to the parents the neuro and psychomotor assessment, the neuro and psychomotor rehabilitation project, and the adaptations and modifications over time in collaboration with the doctor and the tutor.
The ability to respect the internship timelines and the submission of work.
Clinical observations and the conduct of therapy sessions will be discussed in a group.
Use of facilitators to consolidate communication skills with patients and adults, gradually becoming aware of one's own communication style (role-playing, personal training workshops, individual and group interviews)
