AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The educational programme of the course is to train graduates as to possess and express those interdisciplinary skills in the legal, economic, statistical, socio-political, historical-geographical and anthropological fields that are suitable for assessing and managing the problems of modern societies related, in particular, to the world of sport.

The graduate will have to possess language skills useful for starting professional paths in national and multinational private companies, public and private (including non-governmental and third sector) national, supranational and international sports bodies and organisations.

In the first year, the Course aims to provide the legal, economic, anthropological, territorial, basic linguistic and new media knowledge that is essential and preparatory to the discussion of more specific topics that characterise the professional profiles of the Course's output.

The teaching objective is to enable students to reach CEFR level B2 through the textual analysis of official documents, newspaper articles and speeches in the field of sport.
