The teaching aims to develop skills relating to general and special pedagogy with particular attention to the educational and ethical-social aspects connected to physical and sporting practice. It addresses the fundamental issues of Pedagogy (declined in Sports Pedagogy) and Special Education in order to promote inclusion processes through the education and training of the person in the planning of physical and sporting activities.
Purpose of teaching is:
Lessons are conducted in the presence of the teacher and have mainly character of lectures. Within the course, group activities can be provided.
In case of certification of specific learning disability, disability or other special educational needs, please contact both the Department contact person, Prof. Nicola Girtler, and the lecturer at the beginning of the lectures to agree on teaching and exam methods which, in compliance of the teaching objectives, take into account individual learning methods and provide suitable compensatory/dispensatory tools recognized by the University SLD Student Service.
The program of the course will consist, mainly, in the following contents: the pedagogy as a science and its objects of study; the categories of pedagogical thinking; the logic and the language of the scientific discourse in pedagogy; the interpretative dimension and the structuring of the method of intervention within pedagogical practices involved in human and educational processes.
For the deepening of topics covered in the course, it is recommended to study the following book:
