AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

Knowledge of the main lines of the technical regulation, of the offensive and defensive technical fundamentals and of the teaching progressions related to the different age groups.

Knowledge and in-depth study of mini-basketball, wheelchair basketball, three-on-three.

TEACHING METHODS

The course is divided, for each student, into:

10 hours of theory (carried out at the SV university campus) dedicated to knowledge of the rules, in-depth study of issues related to the game, knowledge of psychological, physiological and technical aspects of the activity
20 hours of practical activity (carried out at the Giardini a Mare tensile structure in Vado Ligure) dedicated to field exercises and the creation of teaching progressions relating to individual fundamentals

Students with valid certifications for Specific Learning Disorders (DSA), for disabilities or other educational needs, are invited to contact the Teacher and the School/Department disability contact person at the beginning of the course to agree on any teaching methods that, in compliance with the teaching objectives, take into account individual learning methods.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Individual offensive fundamentals with and without the ball (dribble, pass, shoot, movements without the ball)

Defensive fundamentals. Defense on the setter, denial, weak side. Zone defense criteria.

Fundamental elements of the attack: give and go, give and follow, give and switch.

Fundamental elements of the defense: One on one, 2 on 2, 3 on 3. Man-to-man defense, zone defense and special defenses.

Team attack construction.

Defensive collaborations.

Minibasketball and easy basketball at school

3x3 and wheelchair basketball

Knowledge and in-depth study of the Technical Regulations.

Internship to verify learning in progress.

EXAM DESCRIPTION

 The exam is carried out through the double verification of a closed-ended questionnaire (30 questions) and an internship exercise relating to a teaching progression indicated by the teacher.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The exam and the internship exercise must demonstrate the actual level of depth and knowledge of the subject by the student. In particular, the following aspects will be verified:
knowledge of the technical regulations

knowledge of the teaching progressions

knowledge of the technical fundamentals

Students with disabilities and D.S.A. may request alternative teaching and methodological solutions from the reference teacher that can help the interested student overcome the difficulties encountered and continue his/her studies. In any case, compensatory and dispensatory measures will be adapted to the needs of those requesting them on the basis of certified needs.
