Short theoretical and practical module of Judo, Japanese Martial Art and Olympic Sports.
The teacher gives theory and technique lessons of the individual sporting activity through lectures and technical experience on the practice fields, with specific reference to the main specializations of judo.
At the end of the Judo module the student will know the theory, rules, behaviors and fundamental techniques of the discipline. This knowledge will allow us to: interpret the performance model of sport; strengthen the respectful and collaborative attitude towards the environment in which one operates and the colleagues with whom one interacts; have hygienic and health behavior appropriate to the needs of physical training and the skills to transmit this behavior to future students; know and teach exercises and opposition games in maximum safety useful for the psycho-physical development of the student; know how to carry out and teach some fundamental fall techniques of the discipline that allow the prevention of fall injuries and educate in the control and management of contrasting situations.

I semester
The exam consists of a practical and a written part, which will be average. The practical part will be supported at the end of the Judo teaching lessons and is preparatory to the written part. The written part may be supported at institutional exams, and will be integrated with the other two subjects of Individual Sports and Combat, Athletics and Olympic gymnastics.
To take the practical part the student must have attended at least 75% of the lesson hours.
For the practical exam, the correct execution of some Judo techniques learned during teaching is required: techniques of falling alone in the different directions of imbalance (back, forward, sideways, forward rolling, back rolling); projection techniques and ground control techniques of a collaborative partner. To pass the practical part student will have to demonstrate that she/he knows how to perform judo techniques with at least a minimum level of coordination and a maximum level of execution safely, towards her/himself and towards the partner.
The written exam will be in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 11 multiple choice questions, only one correct. Sufficiency will correspond to 6 correct answers out of 11 questions (score 18). 11 minutes maximum to deal with the 11 questions (14 minutes for those entitled to additional time). The quizzes will be administered during the written exam integrated with the other two disciplines.
The mark obtained in Judo will be averaged with Athletics and Olympic gymnastics.
The practical Judo exam will verify the student's "specific know-how" ability, i.e. having learned to: fall safely in the different directions of possible imbalance; perform with control the Judo techniques learned during the lessons.
The written exam will verify the theoretical knowledge of the subject, i.e. the student's understanding of: the meaning of the term Judo, the Judo principles, the rules of the dojo and combat, the factors of the performance model.
