This course aims to unit will provide the basic notions of mechanics of biological tissue and teach them how to formulate appropriate mathematical models. It will also provide notions on numerical analysis to find numerical solutions of the mathematical problems. One of the aims of the course is to teach the students how to work independently on a new project and how to find and study the existing scientific literature.
