In addition, clinical parametrs and laboratory tools will be presented to implement the correct diagnostic approach to the main hemopathies AIMS AND CONTENT AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING To understand the structure and function of normal hematopoiesis; 2) to recognize the main abnormalities associated with hematological disorders; 3) to understand the main cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the development of neoplastic diseases. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING To be able to perform a proper diagnostic approach in patients suspected to be affected by a blood disease; 2) to be able to collect properly a clinical history; 3) to be able to perform physical examination. TEACHING METHODS Hematology course includes hematology classes (=21 hours) and attendance of the clinical ward. Hematology classes will be delivered in presence.
