OVERVIEW

The Course of Hematology and Oncology will focus on the clinical presentation and the treatment of the most common malignancies and non-oncological hematological diseases. In particular, the molecular mechanisms inducing neoplastic disorders will be addressed underlying the potential role of
novel therapeutic targets (targeted therapy). Moreover, the diagnosis and treatment of selected diseases will be presented as well as the proper use of
the most common laboratory and imaging tools.

AIMS AND CONTENT

TEACHING METHODS

Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
