OVERVIEW

The course of pain therapy and palliative care will deal with the pharmacological, diagnostic and clinical bases concerning the following problems: acute and chronic pain, perioperative pain, oncological pain, treatment of pain at home - basics of palliative therapy in the oncological and non-oncological field - specific attention to the treatment of pain and palliative care in a critical environment.

Lessons in presence or virtual

Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
