The course is composed of two modules. The first module deals with theoretical and mathematical aspects of applied mechanics. The second module deals with more typological and practical aspects, describing the main mechanical components and studying them by means of the theoretical tools developed in the first module. The overall course provides the tools for the functional design of mechanical systems.
The student will learn the basics of kinematics, statics and dynamics applied to the design of mechanical systems, and the main phenomena of the Mechanics of Machinery. The student will learn the features and the purpose of the main components of mechanical systems and transmissions.
Fundamentals of maths, geometry, technical drawing and physics.
