Learning major techniques of pain therapy (pharmacologica, agopuncture, etc) AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES To gain insight into the local and regional surface anesthesia and tricolytic procedures of podiological interest as well as the side effects of anesthetics. Learn the main methods of pain therapy (pharmacological, acupuncture, etc AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Students will be trained to: Deepen their knowledge of anesthetic procedures and therapy of pain in foot surgery and the unwanted and sometimes life-threatening effects. The course will also teach the correct procedures to face cardio-pulmonary emergency. General anesthesia: introduction loco-regional, surface, nerve-block anesthesia. Effects of local anesthetics Side effects of anesthetics. Vasoconstrictors. Anaphylactic and anaphylactoid reactions. BLS techniques. Therapy of pain: the pain Sensorial receptors Antalgic therapy Infusion pumps Peri-dural analgesy . Agopuncture.
