CODE 114575 ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025 CREDITS 4 cfu anno 1 GLOBAL CHANGE E GESTIONE SOSTENIBILE DELLA NATURA 11769 (LM-60) - GENOVA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR IUS/10 TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA SEMESTER 1° Semester MODULES Questo insegnamento è un modulo di: SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND REGULATORY ASPECTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB AIMS AND CONTENT AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Learning of the general principles of the subject, as well as the fundamental notions relating to institutions, procedures, acts, sanctions and responsibilities in the various sectors of environmental law, which contribute to pursuing sustainability and fighting climate change, between sources of law and jurisprudence (Euro-unitary and national). The teaching is the only one of a legal nature in the course and therefore students are not familiar with the language, methodologies and general notions of legal sciences. This conditions the identification of training objectives. The expected results consist of students being able to: - know, understand and remember the fundamental principles and notions of environmental law in general and of the sectors that are studied within the programme; - acquire appropriate the technical language of the sector; - frame and understand the raison d'être of the main rules, also in relation to the principles and purposes of the sources that contain them; - identify connections and analogies between the disciplines concerning the different sectors of environmental law, which are relevant for sustainability and the contrast to global change - learn to understand the complexity of the interpretation of regulations, beyond their simple literal meaning and in relation to their history, their purposes and the disciplinary system in which they are inserted - identify and critically understand some of the problematic aspects of the disciplines and application orientations - be able to critically relate what they study to the news relating to issues of environmental relevance, in order to develop sensitivity for the transposition of legal notions into practice.
