The course presents the basics of the reasoning and language of mathematics, with a focus on some aspects that are strictly connected with applications in computer science.
Learning basic concepts and tools of mathematics and how to formalize problems in a mathematically correct way by the use of the language of algebra and logic.
Knowledge of literal calculus at school level and the basic concepts of trigonometry.
