The course consists of two independent modules of 6 credits each, aimed at providing complementary knowledge and skills in multimedia processing: digital image and video processing and digital sound and music processing.
This course is composed of two modules: the first, Image and Video Processing, focuses on the analysis and processing of digital images and videos, providing skills for extracting visual information and analyzing motion. The second module, Sound and Music Computing, offers a solid foundation in the digital processing of sound and musical content, with a focus on acquisition techniques, analysis, and sound synthesis.
Basic computer skills are helpful.
