The teaching as a whole has two distinct modules, one geographical and one historical. The two disciplines often share common themes of study, both with regard to general aspects and those peculiar to social transformations, such as, for example, migration from a spatio-temporal point of view. Mainly spatial for the geographical area, more temporal for the historical one.
As far as the geographical part is concerned, it is necessary to know the foundations of Human Geography and to have supported Social Geography or Intercultural Geography. For social history: A basic knowledge of contemporary history is desirable but not compulsory.
