AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course aims to provide the general foundations of Clinical Pedagogy by structuring, on the one hand, the pedagogical dimensions in their epistemological references and by building, on the other, the clinical paths relating to self-formation and education assumed in their praxis-existential dimensions. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The main objective of the Course is to acquire the foundational knowledge relating to Clinical Pedagogy and the professional skills of the clinical pedagogist. The achievement of adequate knowledge and an effective understanding capacity relating to the fundamental theoretical dimensions of Clinical Pedagogy and the deformative, miseducational and de-instructional problems of the human being is aimed at understanding and solving problems attributable to the pedagogical dynamics of deformation and miseducation that generate states of existential unease. This is done through the acquisition of critical-interpretative skills aimed at developing an autonomy of judgment in dealing with situations of deformation, miseducation and de-instruction. PREREQUISITES There are no specific requirements. TEACHING METHODS Lessons are conducted in the presence of the teacher and have mainly character of lectures. Within the course, group activities and seminars can be provided. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The program of the Course will consist, mainly, in the following contents: the identity of Clinical Pedagogy; the relationship between Clinical Pedagogy and General Pedagogy; Clinical Pedagogy and Pedagogical Sciences; the problems of deformation, miseducation and de-instruction of human being: theoretical and practical aspects; the professional profiles of pedagogist and clinical pedagogist. LESSONS LESSONS START 23th September 2025 Class schedule CLINICAL PEDAGOGY EXAMS EXAM DESCRIPTION Exam is written. The written exam is finalized to verify acquired knowledge by the Students and their critical capabilities in the elaboration of the learned contents. Evaluation criteria: relevance of contents, argumentation of acquired knowledge, logical coherence, language properties, critical-problematic ability. The exams take place at the Department of Scienze della Formazione(Genoa, Corso A. Podestà, 2). The classroom, assigned by the office, will be indicated both on the University portal "Easyacademy" and on the screens at the entrance to the Department, on the day of the exam. The exam's dates are indicated on the Aulaweb page. ASSESSMENT METHODS The written exam is designed to probe the knowledge gained by the student and his critical processing capabilities of the learned contents. In order to this, the exam, lasting 60 minutes, is organized into a small number of open questions. During the course of the examination, students can consult books in the program. Students have to attend the exam with the program of the current academic year in, even if they are enrolled in previous academic years. In the case of insufficient results, students will have to attend the exam again in the same manner. Examination procedures are the same also for non-attending students. The email must specify: -the name of the course - the date of the exam - the student’s surname, name, and matriculation number - the compensatory tools and dispensatory measures deemed functional and requested. The referent (Prof. Laura Traverso) will confirm to the professor that the applicant has the right to request adaptations for the exam and that such adaptations must be agreed upon with the professor. The professor will respond by communicating whether it is possible to use the requested adaptations. Requests must be sent at least 10 days before the exam date in order to allow the professor to evaluate their content. In particular, if you intend to use concept maps for the exam (which must be much more concise than the maps used for study) if the sending does not respect the established times, there will not be the necessary technical time to make any changes, which could be requested by the professor.
