The Teaching consists of the modules: Ecodesign and Life Cycle Assessment in the Marine Sector and Executive Design with an integrated and complementary programme. Please refer to the individual modules for specific contents.
The teaching is designed to equip students with cross-disciplinary technical skills to support design projects with a conscious and sustainable approach. It is divided into two modules: the first (Executive Design) focuses on operational and communication tools for the preparation of technical documentation and professional project management. The second module (Ecodesign and Life Cycle Assessment in the marine sector), introduces the principles of ecodesign and circular economy, applied to the sustainable design of nautical products.
It is desirable that students have already attended the first semester's lectures as the technical topics covered presuppose a technical knowledge base that allows them to delve into the more specific topics of ship design.
Ricevimento: The teacher is available for information and clarifications, in Genoa (Opera Pia – pavilion B, 2nd floor) and via Microsoft Teams. Please contact in advance the teacher (erica.gagliano@unige.it) to schedule the day and time.

The final evaluation of the teaching is given by the average of the evaluations gained within the two modules (6 cfu + 6 cfu) that make up the teaching itself. The final exam will not be passed until the student has passed the exam of both modules and recorded the final average.
Please refer to the pages of the individual modules for a more detailed description.
