Strategies and tools to qualitatively evaluate performances and environmental impacts of design choices in relation to the specific characteristics of the site are presented and applied, considering technological/technical and environmental aspects (as limited sources, pollution, etc.) characterizing urban areas. Strategies and technologies for climate change adaptation and mitigation, with focus on environmental sustainability, are also presented and applied. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The aim of the course is to study the relationship between the design of a building and its energy and environmental performance.
