AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The main aim of the class is to provide students with the basic mathematical tools used in other topics studied in the future. Contents: - sets, sets of numbers, the concept of function. - Real functions of a real variable: limits, continuity, derivatives and differentials, the study of functions. Real functions of more variables: introduction. - Linear algebra: vectors, matrices, linear systems.- Economic applications to financial mathematics. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Teaching will be done by treating the various topics starting from the basic knowledge of new student from schools of different types. This approach is aimed at encouraging learning. TEACHING METHODS lectures and exercises. Classes material is on aulaweb. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Sets, sets of numbers, the concept of function.
