AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the course the student will have to:

 

· know in depth the various surgical techniques (conservative, resective, regenerative)

 

· know mucogingival surgical techniques

 

· be able to recognize and diagnose and treat periodontal disease

TEACHING METHODS

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

- the G.T.R. in periodontology - various surgical methods in G.T.R. - various types of membranes - G.T.R. suturing techniques - contraindications to G.T.R.

- resective, conservative and mucogingival surgery
