At the end of the course the student will have to: · correctly recognize a periodontal case . know and carry out non-surgical therapy . know in depth the various surgical techniques (conservative, resective, regenerative) · know mucogingival surgical techniques · be able to recognize and diagnose and treat periodontal disease
The course includes a professional clinical internship carried out in the university dental clinic and in affiliated hospital departments. The students, followed by dedicated tutors, will intervene directly on the patient as first operators with progressively increasing degrees of autonomy. Attendance is mandatory.
