The course aims to provide the knowledge requested to a general practitioner of female physiology (ovarian and uterine cycle), of the most common benign disease (polyps, fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding) and malignancy (cervical, endometrial, ovarian and vulvar tumor) as well as physiological pregnancy and its complications (diabetes hypertension IUGR) including labor Finally, the pathophysiology of human reproduction (diagnosis and treatment) will be introduced.
Any Student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to liase and arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
