AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES This module develops specific training in heat transfer, analyzing the three main mechanisms: conduction, convection, and radiation. Applications to buildings and their systems are then considered. The principles of the thermodynamics of moist air are introduced, along with their applications to air conditioning systems and phenomena such as surface and interstitial condensation.
