Study of chemical and chemical-physical basic of technologies, with particular attention to materials, properties and interaction with the environment, providing a synthesis of common principles of state and transformation of matter.
The teaching aims to provide the essential physical-chemical basis for understanding the structure-property correlations in materials for their technological applications.

The overall evaluation, expressed in thirtieths, is determined by the weighted average based on the CFU of the individual modules, possibly rounded up. For calculating the average, if present, a 30 with honors is equated to 31. The Honors in the final grade is assigned if present in at least one of the two modules with an average of no less than 30/30.
