The course includes the definition of the behavior of a vessel at sea from different points of view (such as static, dynamic, etc.). The course will provide the theoretical and regulatory bases for the study of vessels, providing the necessary skills for the ship design.
The teaching deals with advanced studies of ship stability and dynamics, providing advanced skills for the design of vessels and yachts.

The overall grade will be the result of the average of the grades received for each module. Registration will take place after passing both modules.
The oral exam consists of some questions aimed at ascertaining the knowledge developed during the lessons on all the topics covered. The ability to present and deal with the topics analyzed during the semester will be assessed.
