OVERVIEW

There’s no such thing as Soft Skills

They want us to believe that soft skills are unteachable, unmeasurable and hence, unimportant.

This presentation will challenge each one of these assumptions.

From the Ancient Greeks to today’s leaders the evidence is clear these skills are not soft at all.

They are essential to living a good life, creating a good community and having  meaningful employment.

Soft skills are wanted by most employers and needed for most jobs.

Are you someone that other people in your organisation/department and industry like to walk with, collaborate with and partner with?

Are you seen as a valuable asset to any new project that comes along?

Your academic degrees and tech skills are not enough for long term career success:

YOU NEED TO BECOME EXCELLENT IN YOUR SOFT (not so soft) SKILLS.

We will show how EQ matters heaps more than IQ and why emotional intelligence is what makes a business successful. We will introduce new trends like Peer Reviews and the Kindness Economy and how a new caring Leadership is possible, but only if you fail hard.
