Historical notes on the birth, transformation and technical evolution of the same. Knowledge of the problems related to water education in the acclimatization and pedagogical choices of the teacher as well as organization and planning of the work with objectives, methods and contents. Knowledge of the laws related to buoyancy and advancement in the water. Know and know how to do the four swims with analytical skills: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly including competitive starts and turns. Analysis of the organizational modalities and the program of international competitions (Olympic). Knowledge of pedagogical proposals useful for the transition from the recreational-global approach with dexterity and agility objectives to other types of competitive motor activities and fitness: water polo, artistic swimming, diving, rescue swimming and water aerobics or water aerobics gymnastics. Knowledge of the principles that govern training in the water with particular reference to the youth sector and the positive effects on health. TEACHING METHODS Practical lessons held in the swimming pool. During the practical lessons, theoretical notions will be taken up and methodologically applied in water. ASSESSMENT METHODS The written exam consists of 30 questions, of which 5 are open-ended and 25 are closed with multiple-choice answers. The time allotted is 40 minutes.
