1. Understanding the peculiarities of the paediatric age group and the physiology of the various developmental stages from birth to adolescence.

2. Know the basics of nutrition, newborn screening and vaccines.

3. Understand the physiology and pathology of growth.

4. The basics of rheumatological diseases.
5. The basis of neuromuscular diseases.
6. Basis of endocrinological diseases.
7. Basis of gastroenterological diseases.
8. Hints on genetic diseases.
