CODE 117818 ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026 CREDITS 3 cfu anno 1 SCIENZE PEDAGOGICHE PER LA PROGETTAZIONE, LA CONSULENZA E IL COORDINAMENTO DEI PERCORSI EDUCATIVI 11916 (LM-85 R) - GENOVA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR M-PED/01 TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA SEMESTER 1° Semester MODULES Questo insegnamento è un modulo di: PEDAGOGIA SOCIALE E EDUCAZIONE AI MEDIA NARRATIVI AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The main objectives of the Course are the acquisition of foundational knowledge inherent to Social Pedagogy as a specific pedagogical science – with particular regard to its epistemological status – and the development of an adequate understanding of the theoretical-practical dimensions relating to the problems that emerge from the relationship between human beings and society. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The main objectives of the Course are the acquisition of foundational knowledge relating to Social Pedagogy and the understanding of its objects of study. It aims to examine the epistemic foundations and heuristic dimensions of Social Pedagogy, as a pedagogical science aimed at investigating the processes of formation, education and cultural instruction of the human being captured in their relationship with lifestyles and thought, the cultural and pedagogical codes of a social reality. The acquisition of adequate knowledge and an effective ability to understand the scientific foundations of Social Pedagogy and its objects of study is aimed at achieving the skills necessary to understand, interpret and address the problems connected with the formation, education and cultural instruction of the human being considered in relation to the social community of which he is a part. TEACHING METHODS Lessons are conducted in the presence of the teacher and have mainly character of lectures. Within the course, group activities and seminars can be provided. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The program of the Course will be mainly divided into the following contents: the objects of study of Social Pedagogy; critical-interpretative perspectives and intervention logics aimed at prefiguring educational and instructive scenarios for subjective humanization; interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary openings in Social Pedagogy. The written exam is finalized to verify acquired knowledge by the Students and their critical capabilities in the elaboration of the learned contents. Evaluation criteria: relevance of contents, argumentation of acquired knowledge, logical coherence, language properties, critical-problematic ability. The exams take place at the Department of Scienze della Formazione (Genoa, Corso A. Podestà, 2). The classroom, assigned by the office, will be indicated both on the University portal "Easyacademy" and on the screens at the entrance to the Department, on the day of the exam. ASSESSMENT METHODS The written exam, lasting 60 minutes, is organized into a small number of open questions. During the course of the examination, students can consult books in the program. Students have to attend the exam with the program of the current academic year in, even if they are enrolled in previous academic years. In the case of insufficient results, students will have to attend the exam again in the same manner. The email must specify: - the name of the course; - the date of the exam; - the student’s surname, name, and matriculation number; - the compensatory tools and dispensatory measures deemed functional and requested. The referent (Prof. Laura Traverso) will confirm to the professor that the applicant has the right to request adaptations for the exam and that such adaptations must be agreed upon with the professor. The professor will respond by communicating whether it is possible to use the requested adaptations. Requests must be sent at least 10 days before the exam date in order to allow the professor to evaluate their content. In particular, if you intend to use concept maps for the exam (which must be much more concise than the maps used for study) if the sending does not respect the established times, there will not be the necessary technical time to make any changes, which could be requested by the professor.
