CODE 121070 ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027 CREDITS 1 cfu anno 1 COMPUTER ENGINEERING 12133 (L-8 R) - IMPERIA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR IINF-03/A LANGUAGE English TEACHING LOCATION IMPERIA SEMESTER 1° Semester MODULES Questo insegnamento è un modulo di: INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER ENGINEERING AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The module is intended to provide basic knowledge about telecommunication systems from signals (sampling, modulation, and frequency analysis) to computer networks (transmission media and network protocols). The teaching unit will also aim at introducing simple concepts about the structure of the Internet and the various technological standards and solutions present in modern telecommunication ecosystems. TEACHING METHODS Students who hold valid certificates relating to Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), disabilities or other educational needs are invited to contact the lecturer and the school’s disability liaison officer at the start of the course to agree on any teaching arrangements which, whilst respecting the course objectives, take into account individual learning styles.
