CODE 117866 ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027 CREDITS 12 cfu anno 1 DIGITAL HUMANITIES - INTERACTIVE SYSTEMS AND DIGITAL MEDIA 11945 (LM-92 R) - SAVONA TEACHING LOCATION SAVONA MODULES Questo insegnamento è composto da: COGNITIVE ERGONOMICS METODI QUALI-QUANTATIVI TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB OVERVIEW The course proposes a critical and operational exploration of the empirical methods that can be used for the analysis of user experience (UX) and for the study of human behaviors and interactions in digital contexts. In line with the interdisciplinary approach of Digital Humanities, the course combines the theoretical foundations of cognitive sciences with the proper use of methodological tools from the social sciences and usability assessment. Organized in two integrated modules – Cognitive Ergonomics and Qualitative-quantitative Methods – the course is aimed at students interested in understanding and improving the relationship between people and digital technologies, with particular attention to the quality of interaction, the comprehensibility of interfaces and the satisfaction of the end user. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The teaching unit aims to provide students with knowledge of research methodology, with a particular focus on its application to the ergonomic design of interactive systems and user interfaces. The teaching unit is structured into two modules, whose specific learning objectives are outlined in their respective descriptions.
