CODE 114614 ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027 CREDITS 12 cfu anno 2 INGEGNERIA INFORMATICA 11880 (L-8 R) - IMPERIA TEACHING LOCATION IMPERIA MODULES Questo insegnamento è composto da: DATABASES OPERATING SYSTEMS AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course is structured into two modules: Databases and Operating Systems. The first module provides fundamental knowledge for the design and management of relational databases, with a focus on their life cycle and the use of languages for data creation and querying. The second module introduces the structure and functions of operating systems, exploring the main components, algorithms, and software structures. By the end of the course, students will have acquired foundational knowledge in both areas, essential for understanding and developing complex computer systems. TEACHING METHODS Students who hold valid certificates relating to Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), disabilities or other educational needs are invited to contact the lecturer and the school’s disability liaison officer at the start of the course to agree on any teaching arrangements which, whilst respecting the course objectives, take into account individual learning styles.
